2 Sep, 2015 / The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) on Tuesday lodged a case against two engineers working at the Western Irrigation Division on the charge of taking bribe from service-seekers.
In a press statement released by the CIAA, the engineer duo, Ishwori Prasad Dhakal and Yogendra Mishra, of the Western Irrigation Office No 7 at Semari, Nawalparasi district were arrested in flagrante delicto on July 5. They were taking Rs 56,000 bribe from service-seekers.
The anti-graft body, in the case filed at the Special Court in Kathmandu, demanded maximum punishment against engineer duos, according to the press statement the CIAA release.
