5 Dec (2017) Kathmandu / President Bidya Devi Bhandari received the Letters of Credence from Mrs. Iman Mostafa A. Ahmed, Mr. Benny Omer, Mr. Jorge Castaneda Mondez and Mrs. Rina Prihtyasmiarsi, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt, State of Israel, Republic of Peru and Republic of Indonesia to Nepal respectively today amidst a special ceremony held at the Ceremonial Hall, Office of the President, Shital Niwas.
Mrs. Iman Mostafa A. Ahmed and Mr. Benny Omer are the Residential Ambassadors while Mr. Jorge Castaneda Mondez and Mrs. Rina Prihtyasmiarsi are based in Delhi and Dhaka respectively with concurrent accreditation to Nepal.
General Rajendra Chhetri, Chief of the Army Staff, Dr. Madan Kumar Bhattarai, Foreign Affairs Expert at the Office of the President, Mr. Bhupendra Prasad Poudel, Secretary at the Office of the President, Mr. Shanker Das Bairagi, Foreign Secretary and other senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs were present on the occasion.
